DAYS 1 – 4

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by your Travel Director who will accompany you for the duration of your African Journey. Enjoy a scenic helicopter flight (approximately 25 minutes) across the ocean and mountains to your first destination, the fabulous Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa for a 4-night stay.
During your days in Cape Town, you will be hosted to wonderful experiences and adventures, including gourmet dining at some of Cape Town’s top restaurants, private wine tastings at exclusive wine estates, tailored and private tours encompassing the rich and diverse cultures of Cape Town, opportunities to engage with local artists and designers, as well as private excursions from Table Mountain to the Cape Point Nature Reserve.

DAYS 5 – 7

This leg of the journey takes you to the renowned Okavango Delta in Botswana. A pleasant 2 hour 20 minute direct flight from Cape Town to Maun in your private jet is followed by an exhilarating 25 minute private helicopter transfer straight to the airstrip at Xigera Safari Lodge. Spend 3 nights at this extraordinary property.
Over the next 3 days, you will discover the magic of Botswana’s most iconic region. The expert rangers and guides at Xigera Safari Lodge will enthral you with their extensive knowledge and share their passion for the wildlife and birdlife of the region.

DAYS 8 – 10

Leaving the beautiful Okavango Delta behind, yet taking along treasured memories, you fly to Zimbabwe to discover the iconic Victoria Falls. After a quick 45 minute flight from Maun, you will land at Victoria Falls Airport. From there it is on to the exclusive and privately owned Matetsi Victoria Falls, an exceptional lodge located on a quiet stretch of the Zambezi River. Over the next 3 days your adventures entail a stunning helicopter flight over the mighty Falls, privately guided game drives and safari walks, gentle canoe safaris as well as picture-perfect sundowner cruises along the Zambezi river. Meet the local villagers and spend time with the children at the nearby schools and then join in for song and dance under the starry skies, for a fantastical dinner in the heart of the wilderness!

DAYS 11 – 13

From the tumbling water at Victoria Falls to the jungles of Rwanda! Return by helicopter to Victoria Falls Airport to reunite with your jet. The flight to Kigali is a comfortable 2 hour 30 minutes, where you will be met on arrival by ground handlers to assist you through immigration and customs. Thereafter, you are escorted to the awaiting helicopters for a fabulous 25 minute flight over lush countryside to the airfield that services the remarkable Bisate Lodge. For the next 3 days you will embark on once-in-a-lifetime opportunities – the star attraction being a gorilla trek for a one-hour encounter with these incredible primates as they forage in their family groups in the forest. Additionally, you will also see the antics of the endemic golden monkeys on another trek into the bamboo forest.

DAYS 14 – 16

The next leg of your African Adventure takes you to the world-famous safari destination: Kenya. The flight from Kigali to Kisumu in Kenya takes just an hour followed by the light aircraft scenic flight over the Masai Mara – undoubtedly Kenya’s most famous and iconic wilderness. You will be welcomed by the warm and genuine smiles from the team at Angama Mara as you arrive at this simply breath-taking camp situated on an elevated position overlooking the plains of the Maasai Mara below. Over the next 3 days, discover this “heavenly” Out of Africa destination. Highlights include an incredible hot-air balloon safari over the Mara, capturing the thrill of the Great Wildebeest Migration, dining on fresh farm-to-table meals in the Shamba, fine-tuning photographic skills with expert resident photographers and engaging with traditional Maasai villagers and warriors as you immerse yourself into the daily way of life for this fascinating Kenyan tribe.

DAYS 17 – 21

After days spent tracking wild animals in the African bush and jungles, it’s now time for the ultimate rest, relaxation and recuperation. There is no better place on the planet than the sheer magical beach escape to be found at Miavana in Madagascar, a jewel in the Indian Ocean. After returning to Kisumu by private charter, you are reunited with the pilots and jet for your last leg to Nose-Be Island in Madagascar (2 hours 50 minutes flight). From there you are whisked by helicopter for a mesmerizing transfer over the crystal clear, blue ocean directly to the lodge, about an hour away. Spend your last 5 days with your toes in the sand and the sea-breeze in your hair. A myriad of marine adventures await and highlights include unparalleled scuba diving and snorkelling explorations of the vibrant coral reefs and turquoise ocean, boat trips to the mainland for enthralling guided lemur walks in pristine forests, exhilarating fishing expeditions, SUP yoga sessions, kayaking, wake-boarding, water-skiing and even kite-surfing! Besides the plethora of activities, you are also able to unwind, relax and soak up the stunning scenery, spa and hospitality at leisure.

DAY 22

And so, your amazing African adventure has come to an end. A journey that offered so much for the senses: sights, sounds, smells, tastes and sensations of a special and magical continent and its inhabitants – A “Gift” never to be forgotten but only treasured in the memory banks forever!
