The Wanderlust Series: Kenya

“The views were immensely wide. Everything that you saw made for greatness and freedom and unequalled nobility” – Karen Blixen

The ultimate “African Dream Destination” is, for many, Kenya. Images from the classic movie Out of Africa conjure up the romance of the expansive savannah plains, the vast horizons and abundant wilderness.

KENYA: THE PERFECT DESTINATION FOR UNPARALLELED GAME-VIEWING, CULTURAL INTERACTIONS AND UNIQUE ACTIVITIES & EXPERIENCES.

Once again we showcase a select few favourite, ethical, eco-conscious places around Kenya including private villa stays ideal for families (like Arijiju), classic-safari style camps (like Governer’s Camp) and bespoke, unique family-run lodges (like Angama Mara!), along with travel updates and Kenyan highlights!

ps. If you love a surprise… there’s an amazing adventure waiting for you! Scroll down for details!

The Best Time to Visit Kenya:

July to November: Kenya’s “cool” season, with crisp days and cold evenings, especially at higher altitude locations. Wildebeest, migrating from the Serengeti in the South, start arriving in the Maasai Mara from July until November.

“Secret Season” January – March: This was traditionally the high season before the ‘migration fixation’ and now offers great value and wonderful weather!
