The Best Time to Visit Tanzania:

Almost any time of the year is great however June – October is best and peak season. The predators are particularly active at this time as the famous wildebeest migration starts moving to Northern Serengeti, criss-crossing the Mara River in search of fresh grazing, “running the gauntlet” of crocodiles lying in wait. A highlight on any Tanzanian itinerary and a truly exhilarating spectacle!

As far less people are travelling during the pandemic, you can benefit with the less crowded tourist attractions such as watching the wildebeest migration, hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, experiencing Ngorongoro crater and much more all to yourselves!

How to Travel to Tanzania during COVID?

Although not required to enter Tanzania*, we recommend to get a negative Covid-19 PCR test prior to arrival (* unless required by the airline or departure country).

All visitors need to apply for an e-Visa and complete a Traveller Surveillance Form before arrival in Tanzania.

Temperature screening and sanitizing hands (often luggage too) at all border posts, hotels, lodges, game drives, charter flights, road transfers etc.

No quarantine required unless presenting with symptoms.

Wearing a face mask is mandatory where indicated. All staff at lodges, drivers, flight crew wear masks at all times.

Social distancing rules are applied and adhered to.
